This five (5) day course provides participants with the theory and practical skills required to prepare detailed Traffic Management Plans including those in accordance with and up to the planning level specified in clause 2.2.1(c) of AS1742 Part 3 – 2009. The course is delivered face to face.
This level of Main Roads WA accreditation is suited to Traffic Planners, Project Managers or Approving Officers.
This one (1) day face to face re-accreditation course provides participants with updated information on the latest changes and requirements to safely prepare detailed Traffic Management Plans including those in accordance with and up to the planning level specified in clause 2.2.1(c) of AS1742 Part 3 – 2009.
This four (4) hour, non-accredited course is a minimum requirement for all persons working at events on roads with a posted speed limit of 60kph or less. This short course provides participants with the necessary skills to implement event warning signs and maintain the safety of event goers and road users. The course is delivered face to face and includes simulated practical training and assessments. This level of Main Roads WA accreditation is suited to event organisers/managers, event community groups or event volunteers.
This one (1) day non accredited course provides students with updated information on the latest changes and requirements to safely and efficiently operate a truck mounted attenuator (TMA) on civil construction worksites. The course is delivered face to face and includes practical training and assessments using live traffic environments.
This one (1) day nationally recognised course provides students with the theory and practical skills required to operate a light vehicle and is aimed at those working in operational roles. The course includes planning and preparing for a journey, vehicle prestart inspection, start-up / shutdown procedures, select and load equipment and completing minor maintenance on a light vehicle. This course is delivered face to face and includes practical training and assessments.
