This one (1) day non accredited course provides students with the theory and practical skills required to transport, position, operate, commission and de-commission portable traffic control devices in the civil construction industry. The course includes planning and preparing to use portable traffic control devices, commissioning, de-commissioning and removing portable traffic control devices from site. This course is delivered face to face and includes practical training and assessments. The course can be customised to suit industry and business needs.

1 day	7:30 am – 4:00 pm (please arrive 15 minutes prior course times)

Pre Entry Requirements

Participants are required to:

Have good English literacy and reading skills as training will involve reading work instructions/maps and writing safety documentation

Hold a current Australian manual Drivers Licence C Class. Licences must be presented to the Assessor prior to commencement of the course.

Provide photographic identification upon arrival at training course (eg driver’s licence, passport etc)

To wear appropriate work attire, including:

steel capped boots

hi-visibility clothing

gloves

hat/sun protection

wet weather gear (where required)

This PPE is essential due to practical training and assessment completed during this course

This is non-accredited training, however we cover workplace training and instructions on how to operate, setup – pack down etc. If you have a group of employees needing training, please get in touch.
