Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM)
Re-accreditation Non Practitioner
AusQ Training is a Main Roads WA approved training provider therefore upon successful completion and meeting all the required Main Roads WA pre requisites participants will also receive a Main Roads WA Basic Worksite Traffic Management Non-Practitioner (BWTM – NP) accreditation (valid for 3 years).
|1 day||7:30 am – 4:00 pm (please arrive 15 minutes prior course times)|
Pre Entry Requirements
Participants are required to:
Provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
Hold a current Main Roads WA Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) accreditation (or be within the 3 month grace period of expiry)
Hold a Statement of Attainment in RIIWHS302D Implement traffic management plan or equivalent
Hold a Statement of Attainment in RIICOM201D Communicate in the workplace
Hold a Statement of Attainment in RIIWHS201D Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
Have good English literacy and reading skills as training will involve reading work instructions, writing safety documentation and interpreting traffic guidance schemes
Have good level of physical fitness/health as training will involve lifting/moving signs and devices (approximately 6-8kgs each), setting up/packing down sites
To wear appropriate work attire, including:
steel capped boots
wet weather gear (where required)
This PPE is essential due to practical training and assessment completed during this course
In order to meet Main Roads WA requirements, participants MUST:
Have evidence of being issued with a valid Worksafe WA Construction Safety Awareness Training Card (blue card) or Construction Induction (White Card)
The above listed requirements and evidence must be supplied with your enrolment. This is required to allow issuing of a digital Main Roads WA accreditation at the successful completion of the course.

Construction Training Fund (CTF) SubsidyMetropolitan Rate $248 – You pay $108 per person Regional Rate $272 – You pay $84 per person Note: This subsidy is available to eligible participants only.
The Construction Training Fund provides funding support for training of eligible workers in the construction industry. We acknowledge the support of the Construction Training Fund in reducing the costs of training for eligible workers.
