With spring upon us and summer fast approaching it is time to keep an eye out for snakes when working on and near the roads. Already we have been alerted to many sightings at worksites and no doubt it is expected to increase over the coming months. Please ensure you raise awareness with those working outdoors and be sure all understand the dangers and treatments required in the event a team member is bitten by a snake.
An important reminder to check your first aid supplies and snake bite kits.
Make sure you brush up on your first aid skills and be ready just in case!
