With the WA government pledging even more money into our roads and infrastructure which is a huge boost for the construction and traffic management industry, therefore, the need for skilled and qualified Traffic Controllers in Perth and WA will continue to grow.

Which course is right for me?  

When it comes to traffic management training in WA there are various course types of names and abbreviations that are used. Basic Worksite Traffic Management & Traffic Control (BWTM & TC) accreditation is our most popular training course due to majority requiring this qualification. If you are looking at gaining employment as a Traffic Controller on WA roads, you will be required to hold this level of accreditation.

What is the cost of training?

Some traffic management courses attracted a subsidy from Construction Training Fund (CTF). AusQ Training is an approved Construction Training Fund (CTF) Bulk Biller Provider, which allows eligible employers and candidates to access subsidies for construction and traffic management training in WA. Subsidies are available to reduce training costs, making it easier for eligible businesses and employees to access the training they need when they need it. What do you need to bring to training?

All course participants MUST bring their driver’s licence, white card, and any previous traffic management accreditation cards.

All participants are required to wear work attire including enclosed footwear & hi-visibility due to practical assessments during the course. Due to training outdoors using real live roads, a hat as sun protection is required.

In the event of wet weather, participants will be required to supply their own wet weather gear.

Where do you deliver the traffic management training courses?  

Depending on your training needs, we have training locations in both metropolitan and regional Western Australia. We have training facilities in Perth (Osborne Park), Bunbury and regularly offer traffic management and construction courses in Albany. Check out our locations here

Are there any employment opportunities once you have completed training?  

Our role is to provide the required training to gain employment – we do not provide jobs to work in traffic management. 

Due to high skills demand, traffic management jobs are aplenty for people with the right qualifications.
