5 Facts about AusQ Training

The AusQ Training team started training and upskilling West Australians in 2011 to at the time fill the gap in service providers for regional areas and to ensure traffic management training adequately prepared participants to enter the industry. Since then, we have helped raise the bar for professionalism and safety. Over the last ten years, we have trained more than 15,000 + people so they can connect with employers and develop their careers within the construction industry.

We are more than just the average traffic management training company in Western Australia though – learn more about AusQ Training with the following 5 fun and interesting facts!

1. Female owned & operated

Yep, in an industry that is predominately ‘male’ driven – we’re certainly leading the way for women in the traffic management and construction industry. Our business is founded by two unbelievably passionate female leaders, that strive for professionalism and quality in everything done here at AusQ Training! With a combined 40 years of experience between them working in the construction industry and 15 + years in business, together they lead the team at AusQ Training.  You’ll find them regularly hands-on across the business and mentoring team members creating tomorrow’s next leaders.

2. We live and breathe traffic management

As well as running the successful registered training organisation (RTO) AusQ Training, our company directors also own and operate a large leading traffic management company in Western Australia. So, it’s safe to say we 110% have our fingers on the pulse with what’s happening in the traffic management industry. Due to actively owning and running businesses in the construction industry we have a real understanding of the latest best practices, which we incorporate into our training courses.

3. Been in business for over a decade

In 2022, we celebrated 10 years in business, and since then we have gone from strength to strength. During this time, we’ve helped thousands of people achieve nationally recognised qualifications in the traffic management and construction industry. We listen to industry and stay ahead of changes.  We are focused on innovation and improving safety standards, which is reflected in our training courses.

3. In-house accredited Roadwork Traffic Manager (RTM)

Our entire team has extensive industry experience, so we are across best-practices and compliance legislation. On top of that we also have access to in-house qualified Road Traffic Managers (RTM).

A RTM accredited person is required to review and endorse complex TMPs such as working at traffic signals, multi-lane roads in metropolitan areas, temporary diversion of traffic onto opposite lanes creating contraflow just to name a few. A RTM is the highest level of traffic management accreditation here in WA.

5. We’re a one stop shop

When it comes to traffic management training, we mean it when we say we are a one stop shop. We are a Main Roads WA approved training provider for all levels of temporary traffic management accreditations. Whether you are after traffic management training for 1 to 500 people, basic to advanced, delivered in Albany to Kununurra – we’ve got the capabilities to assist.
