Important Note: Employers who need to complete this training are required to supply a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) for the use during training and assessment. The TMA supplied must be compliant with National & WA TMA requirements and also be fitted with a dual four point safety harness (required for training). In the event a TMA is not able to be supplied by the employer for training, we can arrange a TMA on your behalf via a hire arrangement at the applicable fee, subject to availability.
In consultation with key stakeholders, Main Roads WA have developed the below Guidelines for the use of TMAs in WA. The guidelines will require the use of TMAs to protect road workers on freeways and high volume high speed roads in the metropolitan area and will commence on 1 July 2017. Download Here
