

On Thursday 9 January 2020, Main Roads WA updated a new Traffic Management for Works on Road Code of Practice. In addition, other key traffic management related documents have also been updated such as;
- Traffic Management at Roadworks State Road, Policy & Application Guidelines
- Generic / Site Specific TMP Checklist
- Onsite TGS Selection Checklist
Key Updates
The Main Roads WA Traffic Management for Works on Road Code of Practice is a major update. Some changes include;
- Works on MRWA Roads in the metropolitan area – new section
- Generic TMPs, Generic TMP Checklist updated and TGS selection process added – new section
- Austroads Safety at Road Worksites – new section
- Requirement for Daily Diary to be based on template
- Railway crossing requirements updated
- Traffic control, Avoiding end of queue collisions requirements added – new section
- AWTM and RTM accreditation changes
